Football patriots hungry for games and expect gaols from Seweto giants

When last did we get to experience an anticipating Soweto derby between the South African football giants Orlando Pirates vs Kaizer Chiefs. We expect the best football from both teams, I miss goals in a Derby just like when the likes of Knowledge Musona was still playing for Chiefs and Katlego Mashego when in Pirates, when they used to be decisive in the striking position to bang them gaols in the net.

We want gaols nothing less, one must go down.

The nation is hungry of football, It's been a draught two months break of football with off season and football patriots will be out to watch the game with high expectations from the Soweto giants in the Carling Cup today at 3:00 pm.

Mamelodi Sundowns Tiyane Suger Mabunda 13talksport with phoo in Balcony

One of the most consistent midfielder in South African football and a great man of God with passion and discipline on and off field. Watching him playing with high determination and confidence at all time is inspiring and more of a person to look up to with dignity he have to respect and reach out to people in need, with his foundation that is giving back to communities in creating opportunities in disadvantaged areas especially in his home province Limpopo. Is helping youth to reach out their dreams and to stay away from illegal substances that will affect their future.

Having a chat with him was very valuable for me and surely it will be for everyone I'll reach out to with the information and all we talked about as he did motivates me to keep on doing what I love. with his dedication  and humble personality is an easy person to talk to and very straight with what he wants and passionate of which is football.

Had fun chatting with him of which I'll never forget the opportunity he gave me to ask him questions about football and development of the game in ground roots level where every youngstars start their game and he  was extremely excited about it, willing to inspire and direct his foundation's vision to develop the games in rural areas.

And how he progressed to be a professional he is today to never complain about his job and adjusted well to be competent through out the season playing all competitions in Mamelodi Sundowns jersey and representing his country was a cherry on top and honored to wear the Bafana Bafana jersey.

The interview will be posted here soon you can what he had to say for yourself..
May God Bless you TIYANE MABUNDA

Look out for interviews of one of your professional athletes

My love for sports started from a very young age and never looked back ever since, I kept on doing what I love which is to talk sports and look into perspective of sports as a business and as for well being of human condition as it is part of people's lives.

Always talk about the development of sports to grow the market more from different codes to be accessible for youth to take it further.

The is more to come on this side about sports where consumption of sports will cater all and also your point of view will contribute for others to consume and enjoy for the love of their favourite game.

Big boots to fill for one of the best midfielder in South Africa

Being inspired by family is extremely vital and the support you will get from those you care about keeps you doing best at what you love.

Siyabonga Sangweni was one of the best defenders in South African football, he was a consistent and a good leader in his time playing football from Golden Arrows to Orlando Pirates. One of a kind with a quality play in the back-line.
He's been inspirational to his young brother Thamsanqa Sangweni who I think is underrated for not be part of the national team, with his consistency and ability to keep the ball in midfield he can add value for Bafana Bafana.

Thami is a former Chippa United captain paying central midfield and now Orlando Pirates player. He's an experienced player who played for Amazulu then Mamelodi Sundowns before Chippa, he will fit well with his strength and quality play in midfield with Oupa Manyesa for the struggling Pirates as they did not do well last season.

Following his brother's footsteps to end his football career at the same club his brother Siyabonga retired at, is massive and pressure will be there for him filling in his brother's boots and further more making history just like his brother did with Pirates by winning double treble and more trophies with Buccaneer.

Great players indeed, good luck to Thamsanqa one of my favourite player.

Amakhosi awaited for the right time at right place

Kaizer Chiefs are known for signing free agent players and it went well with Bhongelethu Jayiya whom met Amakhosi half way of dealing, when he knew about their interest of his service then waited for his contract to end with Fc Cape Town to get get way to Naturela where it has been his dream from a young age to play for Chiefs. The 27 years old winger signed a three year deal with Chiefs.

It will be interesting to see how he will adapt and be competent to be in Khompela's first eleven with highly competitive players  who Play on the right wing where he excel with his speed to run defenders.

The premier league champions Bidvest Wits are not laying down and carried away with excitement of dominating the South African football last season as they looking forward for next season with their squad reinforced with the experience of caliber such as Steven Pienaar added in their books to start the new campaign with them, is a massive step ahead to prepare and get ready for new season.

Schilo played most of his professional football abroad in the gigantic European countries that he flourished well in teams such as Ajax in Netherlands, Dortmund in the Germany and ten years spent in English Premier league playing for Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland. Is a huge experience and a must have in the PSL club to have a productive innovation from an experienced player such Schilo to share and lead the young stars to success.

I still wonder how coach Gavin Hunt will play him as known as a play of utilizing with speedy wingers and a big striker to capitalize on set pieces with Schilo knocking the ball around passing into pockets from the midfield not a speed player that we know Gavin to use, it will be impressive to see how and where Schilo will fit in Gavin's plans.
Surely in his age he will be played behind striker to give those final passes to goals.
